Friendly.  Smart.  Athletic.  Creative. 
 
These are all words most of us would love to have describe us.  But there is one missing: attractive!  I have never met a person that does not want to feel others find them attractive.  Unfortunately, though, I have met many who do not feel that they are attractive.  Some will say that it is not a big deal and that it doesn’t really matter.  And they are right in thinking that it doesn’t really matter if other people find them attractive, but it does matter if they find themselves attractive. 
We all need to be able to look in the mirror and like what we see.  Of course, we don’t have to like everything we see (I definitely don’t like the size of my waist right now) but overall we need to find a way to love our own appearance.  I encourage everyone to take some time to look in a mirror and identify what they really like about their physical characteristics.  You may need to start small: maybe your eyebrows, maybe your cheekbones, maybe the height of your legs, or the color of your hair.  Then build from there.     
I have seen confidence increase and smiles grow as people start recognizing there attractive qualities.  And guess what, confidence makes people even more attractive.
 
I’ll add, there will always be people who will find you unattractive.  And they will always be people who find you attractive.  Beauty really is in the eye of the beholder.  But the bottom line is, YOU need to find YOU attractive.    

Work, school, clubs, sports, family get-togethers, doctor appointments. . .  
The list could go on and on.  We live in a very busy and schedule packed world.  Even with my attempts to cut back on things, I’m still very busy.  I do a few things to help me manage. 

1.  I pre-make my kids sandwiches on Sundays.   I read about the idea in a blog (maybe:http://unsophisticook.com/homemade-uncrustables-sandwiches/).  I take a whole loaf of bread and make as many sandwiches as I can.  Then each night I pack up the lunches with one of the sandwiches.  I throw in a juice box, a cutie, and a few chips (in a container).  Having the sandwiches already made saves me so much time!
2. I set out my kids clothes for the whole week on Sunday, although my oldest in now helping pick out her clothes.  This way there is no looking for what is needed throughout the week, like when Tuesday is wear red day or Friday is crazy socks day.  Even if there is nothing “special” needed that day to wear, it is nice to have the clothes ready to go.
3. Also, involving their clothes, I have my older two kids put on their clothes for the next day before bed.  (My youngest is fast in the morning).  Yep-they sleep in them.  We all have to be up early since my husband and I both have schools to get to in the morning.  Having them already dressed means all they have to do is put on socks and grab something to eat. 
4. Speaking of something to eat in the morning, I let my kids have breakfast bars or a pop tart.  If they move quickly, they can have a bowl of cereal.  If they are dragging, they can eat the breakfast bar or pop tart at before care.  They are not the most nutritious choices in the world, but they need something!
5. I often buy bundles of meals from a Wildtree rep and all we have to do is throw them on the grill, in the crock pot, or on the stove.  The meals come from a butcher who cuts up the meat for me, adds in the veggies, and adds the Widtree products.  It is awesome because they are healthy meals, well balanced, and easy to make.  Plus, we always have left overs to eat another night.
6. My kids go to bed earlier than a lot of children their age and I feel like this helps my whole family.  My four year old goes to bed around 7:30, my seven year old 7:45, and my ten year old 8pm.  They all need a lot of sleep to be in the best mood possible and it gives my husband and I much needed time together.  We have a relatively set bedtime routine that helps.
7. The bedtime routine consists of snacks, special time (each kid gets some one on one time with each parent-we rotate through), bathroom, and to bed.  We take turns tucking them in.
