As a couple and family therapist, I believe that our relationships with others shape our world views, our experiences, and influence our overall happiness and well-being. Whether it's your relationship with your partner, your friends, your family, or yourself, it can make you feel on top of the world. But when hardships strike, problems arise, and things go wrong, it also holds the power to leave you feeling lost, hopeless, and confused. If you're tired of having the same fights over and over, starting to feel like you're losing yourself, or feel like you've tried everything and don't know what to do next, it's time to ask for help.
I have extensive experience working with children and adolescents ranging from Kindergarten to college through my work as a therapist embedded in schools across the St. Louis metroplex. Through this opportunity to work with children and their parents, I gained a love for helping students struggling with behavioral concerns, perfectionism, anxiety, depression, and a number of other stressors. I would love to hold space for you, your partner, your child, or your entire family to grow, heal, and flourish. While we all inevitably struggle at times, therapy is not one-size-fits-all. Each person is unique in their life experiences, and I hope to work with you in utilizing your individuality to create effective and long-lasting change. I got my undergraduate degree in psychology and Spanish language from the University of Texas at Austin. I then completed my master's degree in Couple and Family Therapy at Saint Louis University. Although I am a St. Louis transplant, I now proudly call it home. In my free time, I enjoy both teaching and practicing yoga, sipping coffee, and spending time with my four-legged babies. |
