Michael is a behavioral health therapist with a background in suicide prevention, in-school counseling, and play therapy. He graduated with his Bachelors in Psychology from University of Missouri-Columbia in 2014 and completed his Masters from Lindenwood University in 2018.
Michael began volunteering at Provident Crisis Services in 2016 and worked on the suicide hotline for three years, two of which were as a supervisor. After that, he became an in-school counselor for elementary school students. Private practice allows him the opportunity to work together with children and their families in finding shared goals. Michael's counseling sessions are centered around client goals and designed to be fun! In his spare time, he enjoys reading, hiking, playing board games, running, and cruising on his motorcycle. Michael also enjoys learning new skills and defines himself as a life-long learner. |
