Born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, I enlisted in the United States Marine Corps after graduating High School. Serving in the desert heat of Twentynine Palms, California, I surmounted my military duties earning the rank of Corporal of Marines before receiving an Honorable discharge in 2014. During my active-duty service, I studied at National University earning two Bachelor of Science degrees in Psychology and Criminal Justice in 2016.

Through my studies and years of service, I discovered my passion for helping others. Thus, I went on to earn my Master of Arts degree in Professional Counseling from Lindenwood University in St. Charles, Missouri in 2018. Since, I have zealously served communities, families, and individuals in my work as a Clinical Mental Health Therapist; working diligently to create a safe environment for clients to achieve therapeutic growth through treatment plan development, group, individual, couples/marriage, family, and crisis therapies, case management, advocacy/support services, and a trauma-informed approaches.

I am currently pursuing my Doctor of Philosophy of Social Science in Prevention Science at Wilmington University in Wilmington, Delaware. Now a Doctoral candidate, I focus my work and research on exploring the risk and protective factors, the processes related to improving the health, well-being, and safety of individuals, families, and communities, and the prevention of sexual violence and other related crimes in human populations. To better assist me in providing effective care and advocacy, I've also earned my Victim Advocate credential in 2022, equipping me to explore creative avenues toward improving health and wellness through culturally relevant, aligned, and responsive programs, policies, practices, and procedures.

I practice therapy from the following modalities: Humanistic (client centered, Gestalkt, Existential), Psychoanalysis/Psychodynamic, Cognitive (Dysfunctional Thinking), and Behavioral (CBT, desensitizing, operant conditioning)
